I have been interested in ghosts and the paranormal for as long as I can remember. Always feeling as if I could feel things that weren't there. Whispers in my ears, feelings of past away relatives, dreams that were all to real. These are just little things I have always experienced.

I think I really started to get interested in this field back when I was little. I had a "dream" that was later pronounced a "premonition".
I remember sitting on our couch one night, then everything just changed into another reality in a blink of an eye. I was at my grandmother’s house; no one was there except for an older man who I had no clue who it was. I asked him, he replied "Joey that doesn't matter right now, you need to wake up your house is about to catch on fire." I remember looking at him like he was crazy, then he started screaming in my face for me to wake up. When I did everything was back to normal. I was still sitting on the couch, but it was much later in the night, and everyone was asleep. I looked down the hall, sure enough the central air and heat unit caught fire. I woke everyone up and we got out safely. Though for awhile I wondered who this man was that let me know what was about to happen to our house. A few weeks later I did. My mother and I were going through a couple of her old family photo albums when I saw the man in my "dream". I asked her who the man was, she replied "That is your granddaddy my father who past away when you were two." I told her about how he was in the "dream" I had, and of coarse she got teared up at the thought her dad, my grandfather, came to me in a dream and warned us of this disaster. I was curious about how this could have happened for what seemed like forever, so I went out to find my answers.

That is only one of my many experiences with ghosts.
I have been slapped by an unseen force; I watched one of my friends, who is also a Haint member (Jeremy), recently being thrown 25ft. through a cemetery by a dark mist. I have watched objects such as wallets and knives float through the air slamming themselves back to the ground. I have witnessed many questionable things that I just never could find the answers for.

Though I think my first paranormal investigation with Haint is what probably got me hooked for life in this research. Toward the end of this very fascinating investigation I was punched in the shoulder by an unseen anomaly leaving a bruise of four knuckles easily seen by the naked eye. We tried taking many pictures of my shoulder with both digital and film cameras, but nothing would show up on either.

So even today I enjoy every investigation and experience I have in this field, going back to that first dream I had along time ago. Even when we get no evidence at all from a certain place. It's just the thrill of going out and possibly scientifically proving the existence of the unknown. While hopefully helping the people dealing with these things on a daily basis understand, and become just a little less scared of this ghostly field of research. Because after all ghosts were once people too.
